Marchica Law's Journey
In 1993 my dream of becoming an attorney in a small rural law firm was realized, when I landed a job in a one-man firm in Bellows Falls, Vermont. After ten years with the same firm it became apparent to me and my partner that, although we enjoyed working together, it was time to part ways. In 2003 Marchica Law Office, LLC opened its doors in beautiful downtown Springfield, Vermont. We started as a one room office on the third floor of the Springfield Savings and Loans. We had one computer, no assistant, one printer-that couldn't print lender closing packages - and a copier I borrowed from the attorney I shared the space with. At the time I was afraid to enter a two-year cell phone contract because I was afraid the Firm wouldn't survive the two years. My mission was to provide quality legal services for the communities of Vermont, with a focus on real estate. As time went on my passion for real estate grew, and with that so did the firm. In 2004 the Firm started concentrating primarily on real estate, residential and commercial. My Wife and children got sick of me never being home, so I hired Samantha Simonds as paralegal. By 2005, we were in full real estate mode. At this time the second floor of the Bank opened up so we jumped at the opportunity to have a conference room for closings and one more office space, where we currently reside. Presently Marchica Law office, LLC has one attorney, a paralegal, and a legal assistant. After 12 years of practicing real estate Law, a new office in Ludlow, and the market picking up our mission has not changed, providing quality legal services to the communities of Vermont.
